    For the most part, it’s a fan with a filter, so the filter is key to the operation. Don’t buy one that has tiny filters. I did a ruff calculation on filter area of several units, and this one comes out on top.

    Check the dimensions. I ordered this as a replacement filter for my Pure Blue 311 air purifier. I ordered some for my smaller 411 at the same time. The 411 is fine but as you can see by the pic the 311 is too tall.

    One lasts alot longer and provides better filtration than the aftermarket thinner badly fitting ones. I would highly recommend just sticking with these ones and you will not have any issues!

    This is a fine filter for the air purifier. However, be aware that the 311 is not the same as the 311i Max, and the filter sizes are different. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong one and spent quite a long time trying unsuccessfully to make it fit. Once I returned this filter and ordered the correct one, it slid on like a hand in glove.

    Look at the pictures first. Very disappointed with these filters for Blue air. They make a big fuss and charge you 2x the generic ones by saying they fit perfectly, but that is a lie. Due to being folded up and shipped flat, they seems where it folds at the sides gets very stretched out, effectively removing the sealed filter due to leaving a large gap between the filter and the frame. Very unhappy with these. Debating if I return and just get off brand ones. For reference, I own two 311 and two 411. I’ve never been happy with blue air. They became quite noisy very quickly, as if they are poorly balanced and constructed. I have a few Levoit and Winnix as well, and find the design and performance and noise to be better overall. Especially like the brands that have the filter and frame as a single unit, ensuring a snug fit. I guess this is not only a review of the replacement filters but also of the purifier in general. I won’t be buying blue air again. Levoit is much better, in my opinion. TL;DR…buy generic for half the price. These do not fit well due to how they are shipped.

    I love these purifiers & filters. It runs so quietly and kicks on higher when I’m burning candles or if the windows are open and there’s a high allergy count. The filters seem to last for a long time, too.
