I bought the item “Used Like New” and when I opened the package dust flew out. The filter I received was dirtier than the filter I was removing from my air purifier. It was obviously not going to work. I’ve purchased used like new items many times but I’ve never received an item of such poor quality. My suggestion is buy it brand new and don’t take the risk. Especially if you have health issues.

These are for use in the Blueair fan. They do catch lots of dust, yes. That is what it is designed to do. And they work for that. They are not hepa filters, so don’t expect too much of fine particle or even carbon filter odor cleaning. It can’t be too bogged down with stuff or it would not be a fan and would just filter without being able to chug out enough air to be useful as a fan. It works for my purpose and glad to have such a machine and filters.
