   I encountered zero trouble with removal and replacing the filter, and had-washing the pre-filter fabric. I noted this smoke filter appeared to contain significantly more activated carbon that the basic original filter. Filter media longevity depends upon environmental conditions, of course; my home office is not too dusty, so the original filter lasted quite long. I would recommend this to anyone. Haven’t used any of the “knockoff-me too” filter brands which fit the MiniMax, so cannot compare Blueair OEM filter quality and performance with those.
